Fairy light + Polaroids

Hello! Hello! Hello!

A couple of weeks ago I did a little DIY project for a blank wall in my bedroom using Polaroid pictures and fairy lights... yes Pinterest inspired me but lets be honest who has not been inspired by Pinterest. I mean their wedding inspirations are the best or the little healthy snacks!

Anyway, this DIY project is super-duper easy for everyone to repeat and I promise that it will turn out the same... maybe even better.

To get started you will need:

  • Polaroid pictures ( I didn't have any at the time so I printed normal pictures using Cheerz which is an app that allows you to print Polaroid like pictures)
  • Fairy lights with pegs (battery operated)
  • Hooks ( these hooks are self-adhesive and are so good as they don't peal of your paint when you take them off)

The steps are pretty simple as all you have to do is stick the hooks to the place that you desire and then you just attach the fairy lights on the hooks as shown in the pictures below. The final step is to add pictures of your choice.

Hope you have enjoyed this little DIY and comment down below if you would like to see more of these simple DIY's.

Recently I had the pleasure to work with Dress Lily who have many sales right now such as a 10% discount for new signups and also a 90% discount off sales. Dress Lily is an online fashion retailer shop that has many on trend clothes that are priced at an affordable price; such a perfect equation for shopping.

The first thing that I purchased was this pink purse as my purse that I bought a couple of months ago broke. This purse was at a price of $9.44 but unfortunately, the pink colour has sold out but if you are on a hunt for a new purse then there is a blue and brown version of this purse which I would highly recommend as it's an affordable price meaning that you'll have money to put in it. My friend once bought a purse for £45 and she had no money to put in it at the end!

The next thing that I picked from Dress Lily was this tassel cardigan which is a perfect solution for those cold mornings when you get up and just want to carry your blanket to work or school. This cardigan was at a price of £23.49 and only comes in one size however I'm sure that it will fit many sizes as I usually purchase clothes which are size4/6 and this fit me.

The last thing that I got off Dress Lily was this lace up top which was at a price of $14.90 however, the top is too big for me :( I will be giving this top to my friend as it would look lovely with a pair of jeans and brown boots. I'm so upset that it's too big for me as I really like it and it's so easy to pair the top with anything really.

I apologise for the quality of my pictures on this post but winter and blogging plus photography are not the best combinations

Zaful shopping

December 5th

Hello! Hello! Hello! Only 20 days till Christmas and I'm super-duper excited for it this year actually I'll be honest I'm excited every single year.

A couple of weeks ago I was very kindly approached by Zaful which is a great shopping website especially at this time of the year when you are looking for the perfect presents but have a tight budget. I will even give you my Christmas promise that the clothes come high quality and there are no problems with them. When buying online, I am always worried that the clothes I buy won't look the same that I expected them to look however for this website I can 100% promise that they will look exactly the same.

Zip Up Alien Sweatshirt Jacket - $16.84

The first product that I purchased was this Zip Up Alien Sweatshirt Jacket which my cousin Emilia absolutely adores (her Instagram is emciax_ if you would like to check it out. She only has about 1-2 pictures but that's because she is starting her feed again. Promise you won't be disappointed with her pictures when she posts them. ). Anyway back to the origin of the post. This jacket is very trendy now and I have more frequently seen the alien symbol on Instagram posts - I love this jacket this much as it looks so nice with a pair of jeans and converse.

Nothing beats a warm scarf on those cold mornings especially since it's usually -1 when I wake up brrr. This scarf is so warm and big that when I wrap myself in it I can barely see but that's the good thing about it! The scarf, in my opinion, is very trendy, the monochrome colours go with everything and it's so easy to layer it with anything especially if you have a parka coat.

Off the Shoulder Elastic Waist Tiny Floral Print Dress - $19.99
This purchase is more of a summery clothing however I couldn't resist buying this dress as I think that it will look perfect during the summer holidays especially with curled hair and a floral hairband! The dress is very light which I love about it as you don't want something warm for the summer especially since you'll be sweating anyway.

1st December- Teeny Weeny Sammy Dress haul

Hello, my lovelies! How are you all ? I honestly cannot believe that it is the 1st of December already, I mean it was only Summer like last week! I guess time really does fly by quickly the older you get.

I was very lucky over the past month to collaborate with three stylish shops; Zaful, SammyDress and Dress Lily. Now I've collaborated with SammyDress before but I could not decline the offer when I was asked to collaborate again .

Stunning DIY Gold With White Sequins Square Pillow Case

The first item that I picked up was this gold with white sequins pillow case that I've been loving ever since it came to my house. Basically, I saw a similar pillow like this one on Facebook and when I searched the price of that pillow that I saw on Facebook it was around £50 for one so I was like ' Um. I don't actually need it .....' *sigh*. However, SammyDress offers a similar version of this pillow at a much affordable price of $9.68-  now that's a bargain!

Pineapple Badge Embellished Bomber Jacket

I've wanted a bomber jacket for so long now that I can't even remember when the urge came to have one. I guess it makes me feel a bit like I'm in the movie Grease! I saw this bomber jacket with badges and I loved it straight away. I guess I'm obsessed with badges on stuff this month as I recently purchased ripped boyfriend jeans with badges too. This jacket comes in three colours; navy, green and black. I purchased the green bomber jacket because I feel like my wardrobe contains too many dark coloured clothes. The cost of this bomber jacket is $26.37 which is the average price for a bomber jacket like this.

Products were sent to me by Sammy Dress, however, all opinions are my own

Blogger Buddies- Charlene McElhinney

Hello all my lovely readers, today we are interviewing the one and only Charlene who is known and loved by many bloggers! Charlene's blog is called Charlene McElhinney and you can also find Charlene's YouTube channel by clicking here.

1.Hi, Charlene! How are you? Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and your blog and of course your YouTube channel?
Hello lovely. I'm doing good. I sure can: My full name is Charlene McElhinney and I just recently turned 20 years old. I'm from Glasgow, Scotland. I'm a blogger and aspiring vlogger who pretty much covers everything. I'm also the creator of the wonderful community that is #beechat and I pour my heart into everything I do. I enjoy writing (all sorts of stuff), singing, playing the guitar, shopping, reading and making people smile and laugh. I began blogging as an outlet for my mental health; I wanted to open up about my life experiences and have my own little corner on the internet where I could free my mind. My wee blog is everything and more to me now - I never imagined it would be such an important part of my life.

2.It was your blog’s first birthday recently! How does it feel to know that you have been blogging for a whole year now?
Knowing that my blog is just over one year old is absolutely phenomenal. I've came such a long way. I wrote a blog post about all of the things I have accomplished in the space of a year. I can't wait to see what this year has in store for me!

3.Your hairstyle at the Supercuts event was fandabidocious! How did it feel to attend your very first blogger event?
Attending my first blogger event was a very nerve wracking experience however I was so glad I went. I met a few other bloggers from Glasgow which was interesting as I don't know many! I would definitely go to more blogger events: It was so much fun!

4.The community had grown so much! Do you have any future plans for the community?
I do have more plans for the #beechat community but I'm keeping them on the down low for the moment. I love the community so much and I am so proud of it.  Every single person that gets involved in the chats, participates in the snail mail, uses the hashtag on twitter/Instagram and tweets about #beechat absolutely melts my heart.

5.What is one thing that has inspired you to continue blogging? The one thing that has inspired me to keep blogging is how it makes me feel. Blogging is such a vital part of my life now and I wouldn't be the same person without it.

6.And finally, what is one thing that you would love to receive for Christmas this year ?
For Christmas this year, I would like to receive lots of Christmas cards. Christmas cards make me so so so happy! I'm always the first person to have them written and sent out!
Thanks for having me lovely!

Thank you so much, Charlene, for joining 'Blogger Buddies' , it was a pleasure to have you answer some questions. I wish you all the best in the future with your blog and of course your YouTube channel.

Lots of love

Sammy Dress

Hello, everyone! It's been a while since I wrote a post on my blog but I just haven't had time to especially with all my Sixth Form work. So I'm so sorry about not posting but I will try my best to schedule posts for you all. Also as I'm writing this post, I have reached 500 followers, so thank you to everyone who has contributed to this- I absolutely adore you all

Anyway back to the topic, a few weeks ago I got an opportunity from Sammy Dress , who are global online wholesale suppliers of the latest in women's Clothing, Men and Women's Shoes etc, to work with them and review some of their products. After looking at their website and reading some reviews, I decided to go for it!

The first product that I picked from their website is this colourful mermaid blanket  which was at a price of $21.69 ( around £17.84). Now I've seen so many Instagram posts featuring these mermaid blankets and when I saw that Sammy Dress stocks these my dreams came true! I'm a fan of all blankets , I have so many at home that I have lost count of them all and I'm so happy that a new addition has been added to my family blanket!

The next thing that I purchased were these makeup brushes at a price of $6.59 ( about £5.42). There are 12 makeup brushes, 1 beauty blender and 1 brush egg. For this price, the brushes are wonderful and I'm actually amazed at how good they are. I'm not going to lie because when I put these brushes into the basket I thought that these brushes would be very bad quality and that the hairs on the brushes would fall out however I was completely wrong because not even one hair has fallen off.  Therefore, if you have a tight budget but would still like to buy some high-quality brushes then I would recommend these.

The third thing that I purchased was this crop top with flowers , the price of this top was $6.26 ( around £5.15). The minute that I saw this top I absolutely fell in love with it, I just adore how the little flowers add that cuteness to this top. Even though, that this top is more for the Summer season I couldn't wait and not wear it so I've been wearing it with my black jeans and red converse.  For the summer this top would love so cute with a pair of high-waisted shorts and maybe even a denim jacket.

The last thing that I purchased from Sammy Dress, is this v- neck should t-shirt, at  a price of $6.91 (around £5.68). Do you know those days where you just want to wear messy buns and wear clothes that don't prevent you from breathing? Well, this top fits those days perfectly. I've always wanted to get a top that it casual and I can just throw it on whenever I don't feel like making such an effort. I've worn this top to college so many times because let's be honest who has time to pick a different outfit for all the days of the week and I got so many compliments wearing this top . So yeah, if you like wearing casual clothes that will get you quite a few compliments then I would recommend purchasing this top.

I would like to say a big thank you to Sammy Dress for collaborating with me,it has been a wonderful experience!

These products were sent to me by Sammy Dress in exchange for a review, however, all opinions and pictures are my
